They've recently added alpha/beta support for Houdini and c4d. I'm guessing the same is also valid for max and softimage. On most scenes it's much faster than any decent CPU renderer for the same value computer. If anyone has questions about Indigo GPU support, feel free to ask!Įdit: we're working on a self-contained Indigo benchmark app so you can judge its performance and see results from various GPUs, feel free to check it out: No out-of-core rendering, scene must fit in eg. No SSS/volumetrics yet (it's a top item though, and should be there before long) Super active development! (not sure why OP thinks it's stalled - check our forum)ģD modelling app plugins are not the best, especially if not using C4D, Blender or 3ds max Uses OpenCL, works really well on non-NVidia hardware (and also on Maxwell/Pascal, unlike eg. Highest image quality of any renderer on the market (I know everyone says this, but really, I've been a pixel fetishist all my life, and can provide ample evidence / just look for yourself) Indigo Renderer GPU developer here, lemme give this an honest go.
